Went with a party of 6 for the first time last week. Recommended by family members who live in Gravesend. One word - SUPERB! One of the best Chinese around town, the starters are the highlight of the meal!

We have booked next week again! Thank you Winglee!

This is one of the best restaurants in Kent, not just Gravesend. The food always comes out piping hot and freshly cooked. There is a lot of variety and the portions are pretty huge. If you come with a group of friends, starters are usually placed on a big platter which is to die for. I don't see why anyone could complain. Food always comes out fast, drinks are just as fast, the only downside is that if you were looking to have a quiet dinner, you wouldn't be able to have one on Friday or Saturday nights as the place is packed out. Staff are always pleasant and helpful, given that there's only a few of them, covering 100 people at peak times, I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend Wing Lee to those who seek real hearty Chinese food. At £12.95 per person, and a 10% service charge, it couldn't be any cheaper!

Have eaten at Wing Lee a couple of times now, both times having the buffett. The food is very fresh and always piping hot. The downsides to the place are minimal. Firstly the service. It never comes with a smile, and always with a service charge added! Possibly because if it wasnt added then they wouldnt get a tip! On my last visit a plattrer was ordered between 4 people. We asked for the vegetarian choices to be kept seperate, on a different plate, to minimise meat touching the veggie stuff!, but when it arrived, the food was all on the same plate and all over each other. The vegetarian amongst us had to reorder, and when we mentioned it, the waitress was extreemly non-interested! The drinks can really add up so careful when ordering. Food alone, its great, but everything else can spoil the experience. Good Luck!
