The YSP Cafe Located upstairs at the visitors centre. The cafe serves hot and cold meals, with a regularly changing menu and specials board. Much of the food used on the menu is produced locally. Examples from the menu are a ploughman's lunch, roast pork sandwich, sausage sandwich, shepherds pie.
The glass wall along the back of the restaurant allows visitors to look out over the park and down towards the lakes. Some tables are available outside on the balcony.

Good place to stop for a bite to eat if you are at the YSP for the day - especially in winter when you want some hot food! Beautiful views.

Cafes in tourist attractions can be a bit rubbish, but this is really nice. Nice to see local ingredients on the menu here as well, lots of pubs/restaurants do but cafes like this often don't.
Food on the hotplates at the counter can be a bit hit and miss (generally it's a hit though) but the specials from the blackboard are always good.

Simple, good quality food (generally locally sourced) cooked well. There's always a good choice of hot and cold meals and the service is friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit if you're going to the sculpture park.

Although within the sculpture park (£4 charge for a days parking) this cafe is really nice. It serves local produce and is a pretty good standard for a 'tourist attraction cafe'.
They're generally only open during the day, but they do have late night opening a few times a year for an evening meal.
Great coffee served here too!
