Opened in the summer of 2011, the Venue Walkway is a cafe during the day (08:30-17:00) and a restaurant in the evenings (17:30-21:30) opened by Carl and Terry. Terry is the head chef and he has nearly thirty years experience working in kitchens. Carl is in charge of the front of house area of the restaurant. The menu is predominantly British and Terry makes full use of the local Welsh ingredients.
The restaurant seats 60 diners and there's a separate conference room that seats 100 which can be hired out for parties and functions with special menus created depending on your requirements.
Access to the cafe during the day is from the main street. Access to the restaurant during the evening is off the Celtic Gateway Bridge which links the town centre and ferry terminal. There's free parking after 6 at the nearby Victoria Road car park.

Strangers in Holyhead looking for evening meal. Fortunately we came across Venue Walkway, which was brilliant on all counts - helpful and friendly staff, comfortable setting and brilliant choice of food, which did not disappoint - it was EXCELLENT.
Shall certainly return to the Venue Walkway next time we visit Holyhead to catch the ferry !!
