The Wild Garlic at The Talbort will reopen in July 2013 following it's move from Beaminster. Until then, the The Wild Garlic Bar and Grill will be open at the same site.

Run by 2009 MasterChef winner Mat Follas and his wife Amanda, The Wild Garlic at The Talbort relocated from it's previous location in Beaminster in 2013, having opened at the old site in 2010 and gone on to earn two AA rosettes.

The restaurant, now within The Talbort Inn, continues to have a strong focus on using local Dorset and seasonal produce. The menu changes on a daily basis, with the evening menu always including a 'fish of the day' dish based on the local catch that day. Other typical dishes for the evening menu are rose veal fillet with almonds and fondant potato, or beef fillet with smoked mash. If the restaurant is open, diners can be assured that head chef Mat Follas will be in the kitchen.

The Talbort Inn has six rooms available to rent. Also on offer are cookery and foraging courses.
