We have been eating at The Thatched Inn for the last fifteen years and have never had a bad meal the staff are all way friendly it in a lovely setting nice atmosphere, would recommend you give it a visit.

I took a party of 15 in June 2012, we were made very welcome the food was wonderful, my beef melted in my mouth, we could not fault this pub at all and will soon return.

Plastic food from brake brothers all pre-packed and opened and served. Pork and fig pate, rack of ribs all pre-brought but at top dollar prices very not happy.

My friend Carol booked a table for us on Easter Monday for 1pm we had the Roast Beef which was excellent, lovely service and atmosphere. l live in London, and it The Thatched Inn beats every restaurant l have been in London, l shall ask Carol to book a table every time l come down to visit, and will let every one else know if they are in the area to go to this Inn and enjoy food and service and relaxing atmosphere FIVE STAR!!!!!

We have been to the Thatched Inn on several occasions as an elderly relative uses it for entertaining visitors. Yesterday 16th Dec. they offered a Christmas Menu along with their standard menu. I had the Roast Turkey with trimmings which turned out to be the most disappointing and tasteless meal I have had for a long time. The turkey was ok but floating in what I can only describe as fatty water! The roast potatoes and sausage wrapped in bacon were dry, hard and uneatable and the veg was warmed up in a microwave. I should have complained, but because we were guests I did not - hence my review.
My husband's meal of cottage pie was just "alright"
