The restaurant opens for lunch (closed Monday) and dinner (closed Sunday).  The Star can also provide accommodation both in a 8 room hotel (Cross House Lodge) and a number of cottages.  The Star Inn also run the corner shop across the road, where although selling papers etc, stocks a selection of food prepared in the restaurant kitchen.

Andrew has written two books; Black Pudding and Foie Gras and Loose Birds and Game.
