I visited this pub for the first time in over three years tonight and thought I'd walked into an alternate universe. Gone are all the dark colours to be replaced by light airy colours; the stained jean-toting swearmongers are also missing - somewhere that I don't want to be. I think I remember three handpumps for real ale, there are now ten; but the beers are not just your average beers, they are the leading edge of the real beer market and all in absolutely perfect condition. The landlord was so busy (cooking?) and serving vegetarian food that I didn't have a chance to speak, but I am definitely going to go back to see them. Very soon. Wonderful!
