I eat most days at the Round Oak with my family. I have been using this place for 5 years now and may I say not ever once has anything been wrong there with our meals.

During my time there I have got to know some of the staff and management there and they are so friendly and always welcoming towards us. On a couple of occasions Maxine or Jody have immediately cleared us a table and showed us to out table. If we need anything there always on hand to assist us or take an extra order for puddings.I have spoken to the kitchen hands many times at the serving area.

I've always been greeted in a polite manner from the servers on the day. On a few occasions the chef there called Shaun has gone out of his way to fill items up so we could continue to enjoy our meals. The manager is welcoming to everyone and always warm hearted in his greetings towards customers.

In fact to put it in order in the whole 5 years I've been a loyal customer I've never ever had one issue with a meal there unlike The White Horse in Stourbridge that i used occasionally when returning from Kidderminster as it was on my way home. The staff last year at the white horse were unwelcoming towards made mistakes with the drinks even the meals were cold along with badly cooked potatoes that were still uncooked and raw. I'd never ever use there again and haven't in just over a year now.

The Royal Oak is a real family pub, the atmosphere is lovely with its gentle background music playing at the right level, so you can hear the person opposite you unlike most places I've used in the past.

I've been to many events there and took many pictures there and had my wedding day there with my family who really rate The Royal Oak too. All in all I'm a very happy customer who notices the little details as I've passed my catering exams myself a few years ago. This gives me great pleasure to inform you i know the round oak is a number one place to eat as its 100% clean in my eyes.

I also wanted to inform you that The Royal Oak is well run, I can tell this as they're always so happy in there work.
I really hope this review helps others in the choice to visit, as I feel you wont get better value or service anywhere near as good as you do here.
