The Talbot Hotel has undergone a 4 million pound refurbishment and is due to reopen on April 20th.
The Restaurant @ Talbot Hotel is set to be James Martins second restaurant in his home county of Yorkshire following the success of The Leeds Kitchen which opened in 2011. The chef will be sticking to his northern roots, using local butchers and producers to prepare a menu full of seasonal British dishes. Some of the ingredients will even come from the restaurants own gardens once they're established.
The restaurant has seating for 50 diners and there is also a private dining area (The Wentworth Room) with seating for up to 65 - ideal for private parties and functions.
