I have been to The Mint in South Woodford twice and for me it was a fabulous experience. Both times my husband and I were greeted warmly at the door by a member of staff where we noticed the attractive and inviting ambiance. The tables are well laid out, and after being asked politely if we would like a drink we were then given time to take in the wonderful choices of food from their great menu. The first time we came we were in a large group of 14 and the staff were quick and very attentive, without you getting the feeling they were hovering over you. The food arrived in good time and you knew by sight, smell and taste that the dishes were beautifully and freshly cooked. We returned a few weeks later to try their Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet for £9, and it was excellent value for money. The food was equally as good, with great choices. It was just a shame to see it so empty. We have also ordered take-aways a few times from them and they are always prompt, piping hot and gorgeous. Would highly recommend The Mint for intimate meals or large parties. 10/10
