The Ivy is still renowned as the restaurant for celebrity spotting in London, although many have moved on it is still a great choice for people wishing to dine amongst the stars.
The menus change frequently according to the seasonal produce available, and tend to feature an eclectic mix of dishes - with British favourites such as shepherd's pie sitting alongside an Archari lamb masala and shellfish bisque. The menu is often described as being very well cooked "comfort food.
A set menu is also available at £22 for two courses, or £26 for three - this is available between 4pm and 6pm, and after 10pm Monday to Wednesday and from 12pm to 6pm and after 10pm on Sundays. Private dining is available for up to 60 people seated, or 120 for canapes.
Scott's is part of the Caprice Holdings group, which operates several restaurants in the UK and abroad, including Le Caprice in Green Park and Scott's in Mayfair.
In 2011, director Ferando Peire took part in Channel 5 television series, The Restaurant Inspector.
