We popped in for a meal on a very quiet day in Wadebridge (everyone had gone to Padstow for the May Day celebrations), whilst on holiday from Shropshire and Northamptonshire.
There were 4 adults and our dog. We were warmly welcomed, the service was exceptional and the food as good as any we had tasted in quite a long time.
John's passion for his work is clearly shown through the quality and presentation of the food delivered to our table. When the message got back to the kitchen that it was my wife's Birthday - John brought out her desert with a lit candle on top and got everyone to sing Happy Birthday to her.
If I am ever in Wadebridge again then I will certainly be back for another treat.
