The Dial Bar & Restaurant in the centre of Burton on Trent opens daily for lunch and every evening except Sunday for dinner.
Example dishes from the menu include grilled mackerel in a chervil sauce with cabbage, peas & broad beans; three cheese soufflé with leek, celery & rocket veloute; and steamed rainbow trout with celerity coleslaw and slasa verdi.
There is also a choice of sharing platters, an example being the Asian inspired platter at £13.95 which consists of Thai style fish-cakes, duck spring rolls, tempura squid, filo prawns and crispy pork belly with chilli and plum sauces.
Set menus are available both at lunchtime (£12.95 for two courses; £15:95 for three) and in the evenings (£17.95 for two courses; £20.95 for three). Between 5pm and 7pm and all evening on Mondays and Tuesdays, the fixed price menu is reduced to £14.95 for two courses and £17.95 for three.
The restaurant caters for diners with food allergies or special dietary requirements and is happy to advise which dishes are suitable or can be modified.

Never had a bad meal at the Dial ,no matter what day or time. Great value and outstanding food. Staff are always pleasant and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Also the cocktails are amazing! Probably the best restaurant in Burton!
