The Bow Window restaurant opened in the Cambridgeshire village of Ramsey (cloes to Huntingdon) in 1979. The restaurant is housed in a building that dates back to the 15th century, with original period features such as Inglenook fireplaces and exposed oak beams.
Menus are changed monthly and supplemented by daily specials. On Thursday nights, the restaurant runs pie night, serving a choice of home made pies for £9.95 (served with creamed potatoes and vegetables). There is also a fixed-price set menu available on weekday evenings - with a choice of starters and desserts at £4.75 and main courses at £11.45.
