Went for teatime around 5.15. Ordered drinks and shown to table. We ordered 2 sirloin steaks.one medium rare the other medium well done. When they came the rare steak was tough and very rare.the other steak was burnt cremated.they advertise it comes with 5 onion rings.only 3 on both meals.the peas were cold. We will not be coming back here for a while.

Had a boxing day meal with the family the food was very nice and well worth the money - no complaints. The staff were great and very helpful only problem I found was the price of drinks, but apart from that no problems at all we will be going next year so that will be the third boxing day we have been there lets hope the standards stay the same.

2 for 1 food, what can I say... standard microwave stuff... staff very helpful... no good eating here if you have a food allergy (Gluten intolerant) even if they tell you the ingredients

2 for 1 is excellent value but the sweet menu is extremely disappointing-have tried most of the new menu sweets and there isn't anything I have ordered twice! Jelly, ice-cream and fake cream with a chocolate flake does not maketh a Knickerbocker Glory. The other puddings on offer are of a poor quality and portion sizes need to be increased. Also another gripe is that when I ordered a pudding to be served with custard the spoon was brought to me in the custard......uugh - this has happened twice now so this needs addressing asap. We love the Blacksmiths Arms as a teatime venue but a little 'tweaking' would put more 'bums on seats' - lovely atmosphere and will continue to visit but doubt we will order a sweet until the menu changes.
