Excellent food and great value. Great service, comfortable seating, clean and welcoming. Small, no frills restaurant. Have eaten there on many occasions and never had a bad meal. The lack of a licence for alcohol is not a problem. You can take your own and therefore don't pay the silly prices charged in most restaurants. Would highly recommend, although I like it so much I would also like to keep it a secret!

I have lived all over Europe and for the price this is the best curry house I have ever been too.
The service was excellent. I feel the food is great value for money. it has a cosy atmosphere.
The toilets are clean but nothing special, hence three stars.
I recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a curry in the Cotswolds.

Pretty average Indian food, nothing special. Possibly I'm spoiled having lived in London, but they need to do better than this in 2012.
Clean but fairly uninspiring interior. Staff were polite and service was fine.
No alcohol licence, so no wine or beer on offer - that was VERY depressing.
Non-stop traffic of takeaway pickups going on while we were eating. I think this is really what this place is - a takeaway with some tables.
We won't be going again.

Having lived in London for most of my life and having so many choices of restaurants around, I was delighted to find the Bnegal Lancer.
I have visited many Asian restaurants in the county of Gloucestershire and this is one of the very best.
It is only a small restaurant in the town of Tetbury, tucked away in Market Street you could almost miss it.
The food is excellent and very good value for money. None of the dishes are smothered in ghee, and the flavours are a delight.
If there is one Asian restaurant to visit in Gloucestershire - MAKE IT THIS ONE - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
