We've been to the Ameena on several occasions over a few years and I must say the food is the best I've had and the staff are friendly and attentive. Being from Birmingham I'm a professional at eating Indian food and have tried a lot of restaurants. I use the Ameena as a benchmark to the annoyance of my other half.
As said before on here when the restaurant is busy there is sometimes a delay in the food coming out but this is no worse than other busy restaurants of the same ilk.
I would and do recommend the Ameena to friends and family.

Only one visit but I was very impressed. We were received in a very friendly manner on arrival. This was followed by good service and excellent food at a reasonable price. When the food arrived it had clearly been freshly cooked and if this is typical of what they produce, I can strongly recommend it. The restaurant does serve alcohol. Car park at the side. Pub next door.

Having been here on many occassions i can safely say they do the best indian food in the borough..sometimes the service can be alittle slow but thats usually when the restauraunt is packed...however the food is always excwllent. There is always a friendly atmosphere in there and its nice to see a lot of families..The staff are verry talkative, and are more than confident to recomend from their menu, seems to be a lot of friendly banter as well from what appears to be regular customers...THe only area which could inprove would be the speed at which the food comes out.
