Terriors is a restaurant and wine bar on William IV Street (just off The Strand) which opens for lunch and dinner every day except Sundays; between services there is also a bar-snack menu avalible.
The menu offers a choice between "small plates" and some more substantial dishes. The small plates can be taken either as a starter, or eaten "tapas style" as a snack, accompaniment to drinks or to make up a meal. Example small plates are: a whole Dorset crab with mayonnaise; duck hearts with puy lentils and red wine; and tortilla with allioli. Main courses are more substantial affairs with dishes such as duck confit served with braised flageolet beans; or roast skate with brown shrimps, cucumber, lemon and dill. The menus change regularly, to ensure the use of the best and most seasonal produce.
The restaurant is split between the basement and ground floor, with bar areas in on each floor. Wines served at Terriors are predominately natural wines - produced with organic or bio-dynamically farmed grapes by small producers who do as little as possible to interfere with the natural fermentation process.
Terriors is operated by the team behind Brawn in Bethnal Green and Soif in Battersea.
