I have used Tangs for the last 12 years and have moved to Walmley but still cannot find food anywhere near as good as Tangs. I have always found the people pleasant as you would expect and the food excellent - would recommend.

I've lived in the area for over 25 years, and have been using this family run take away for well over 15 years. And even though I've lived in many parts of the UK, I've always ended up back in Sutton Coldfield.
If you'd asked me 1 years ago who my favourite Cantonese take away was in the whole of the UK, there would be no question. For the price, their food is amazing, always loved it & thought I always would. But you know what has totally ruined my opinion of them? Customer service, that's what.
On at least three occasions this year, I have been completely ignored, no eye contact, no hello, no goodbye, they don't even tell you your order is ready, it's just placed on the counter and they walk off. Even when I have attempted to engage in conversation and being the only customer in the shop, I just get ignored while the owners either gaze blankly at the TV or play on their phone. I've had enough, I'd rather save 50% and go to TESCO over the road and get supermarkets own fake Chinese, at least the staff acknowledge your existence.
In hard times I'll spend my money more wisely.
Bye bye Tangs garden, you will never be receiving a penny from me again.
