Ordered two Donner kebabs and received appalling phone service and the guy on the phone didn't speak fluent English and couldn't understand what I was saying. The phone call took an unbelievable 10 minutes for what should be a 2 minute call. Not happy with the customer service and won't be ordering from here again.

After visiting many indian restaurants on my travels this one is definitely worth going back too!!! Lovely food, great atmosphere and value you for money what more could you ask for?

I've had two curries from this place [when visiting a friend in Kippax] and each time I've been very disappointed and gone to bed with bad oil and cheap ingredients attacking my stomach all night.
I ordered an extra hot lamb jalfrezi recently. I was expecting a quality curry akin to those provided on Leeds road in Bradford. The reason I expected a premium quality curry is because the prices at Sylhet Balti Restaurant are similar to those charged at top Indian restaurants.
So the curry turns up [delivery] and it doesn't look like any Jalfrezi I've ever seen before. It's fluorescent red, which is obviously laden with food colouring. I didn't see any fresh tomatoes, but I could see a mush of tomato paste with some spices. The lamb was OK, but there was minimal anything else. I didn't see any coriander in the curry either.
When the curry was ordered a specific requirement was requested, namely the chillies were to be chopped up so the heat was spread throughout the curry. The guy at the other end understood this request, but lo and behold the curry turns up with fourteen unchopped chillies, which made a bad curry even less enjoyable. It was such a simple request!
Food: 1* - I've eaten at Indian restaurants that serve 100% fresh ingredients, so 1* is all I can offer.
Value: 1* - They charge the same prices!!! That's even more difficult to comprehend.
Service: 2* - The staff are friendly, but if a simple request that was acknowledged can't be followed through, then it's simply bad service!
All the others giving great reviews on here have clearly never eaten at a quality Indian restaurant. Such is life... I would say you get what you pay for, but that isn't strictly true.

The best curry ever so nice i always have tikka masala but wouldn't have it anywhere else beats any Indian restaurant I have ever been to.

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the past few years, and it never fails to please. The staff are always so friendly and pleasant, and make time to chat with you. The food is always a delight and so very reasonable in price. We love eating at this restaurant, as we are always made ever so welcome
