I had seen some mixed reviews for this restaurant but believed that I should try for myself - what a mistake.

I took my husband as a birthday treat. i had been told in advance that it was Greek night and so would be a set menu and there would be belly dancing. Fine.

I thought the set menu meant a limited menu but it didn't. It meant you only got what was set. A selection of 3 starters – hummus, tzatzaka and calamari – with some mayonnaise – all the dips were out of a jar, and then 3 main courses (like a selection), chicken kebab, moussaka and pork.

The moussaka was ok but clearly microwaved, the pork was just 2 slices of grey pork with a drizzle of lemon sauce and the chicken kebabs were raw! (not just under cooked actual pink, raw, cold). The set menu cost £24.95!!! Each!

We obviously sent back the raw chicken and assumed another would arrive – it took more than 20 minutes by which time the rest of the food was finished and/or cold. There were no vegetables of any description and no alternatives if you couldn’t eat any of the set menu.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the meal I was greeted by a series of shrugs – but very little in the way of an apology. Eventually, after I refused to pay the bill the manageress agreed to reduce the bill. The best she said she could do was 20% - to have the bill reduced by under a tenner was, quite frankly, an insult.

An absolutely terrible experience, a disappointment for a birthday treat and a shame given how other people have felt on this review site.
If you can avoid this place – do.

Ps was not particularly well the next day either but this may have been a coincidence!

    Great food, large portions.
Unfortunatly we were the only customers (4 of us!) so missed out on a bit of atmosphere but would imagine with more people would be absolutley great as had a lovely feel about the place, the waitress was lovely even spent the time to try and teach us a small amount of Greek!
Well worth a visit! Thought food was fairly priced as portions were so big, would agree with it being meat based, a few vegetables would not go amiss but bar that, fab time was had.

Delicious food, very authentic and of an excellent quality. Food is pricey and it could do with having a bit more veg and potatoes with the meat, however it is great food. The portions are generous and we enjoyed every bit of it. Will definitely return and can definitely recommend if you want good greek food.

Took hubby there last night for his Birthday as a special prize. Got a voucher thru Eagle radio.

Brilliant food, best have eaten out in a long time. Prawn starters & followed by Kleftico (lamb). Prawns were in a lovely spicy sauce. The lamb was fantastic - even hubby was delighted to find KEO beer - not drank for years - a real reminder of living in Cyprus & holidays in Greece years ago. So stuffed could not manage a sweet!
Yes it was a little expensive, but absolutely worth the money - you pay for what you get.Can highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely be back.

Very expensive and not many potatoes and veg given with main course. Very hard to get the attention of staff. Based on this one experience I would not eat there again.

We were a party of 7 on a Friday night, and the restaurant was busy. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. However, we were allocated to a totally inappropriate seating arrangement for 7 people. On request, this was changed but we were then very squashed.

We all had the meze and the food provided was good. However, I would say that the main part of the menu is meat, and it did feel as though we literally had a plate of meat in front of us. There was some potatoes, but the course would have benefited from a salad or more vegetables.

At times, it was difficult to get the attention of a waiter.

The facilities are upstairs - not good for anyone with walking difficulties.

I do not think we will be in a hurry to eat here again.

Was very pleased to see a Greek restaurant open locally. Was not disappointed either. Food very good, prices with opening offer very reasonable, may be a little pricey when discount stops at end of October. Having said that it's a long way to Greece to get better value :)

Wiil definitely be booking again soon.

Nice new Greek restaurant on Frimley Road. Authentic and tasty souvlaki, good staff.

All together a great evening, I'm looking forward to going back.

Love Greek food and was happy when Spiros opened in Frimley. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are very friendly, and efficient. Food was well cooked, and good value for money.

Would recommend, will definitely be visiting again.

An enjoyable experience. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. My partner is a vegetarian and does not eat meat or fish. We had the mezza containing 3 cold and 2 hot vegetarian dishes. Good portion size, fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive. I had souvlaki as a main which comes with mixed vegetables. The lamb was tasty and tender. My partner had vegetarian kebabs and a Greek salad. The food is authentic and good value. The restaurant has been subtly and tastefully decorated.

    We will be going back.
