The Spice of India is our favourite Indian restaurant and the only one we go to for meals and takaways. We've been a lot of different Indian restaurants in our time especially in Edinburgh and the Borders but the Spice of India is the best. You get absolutely superb service and great prices. Their prices are great value for money generally but they also do brilliant lunchtime deals and Thursday & Sunday night deals which are at amazing prices. The menu is really well thought out with classic and more modern Indian dishes. For me as a veggie the choice is extensive and you certainly don't feel as an afterthought. They really cater for you! For the meat eaters out there the menu is equally as fantastic and doesn't disappoint as my other half will testify. Would highly recommend.
