Soif, which takes its name from the French word for thirst, is the third restaurant/bar from restaurateurs Ed Wilson and Oli Barker (the duo are behind Brawn in Bethnal Green and Terriors in Covent Garden).

As with its sibling restaurants, the menu at Soif changes daily and consists of a selection of dishes with British, Mediterranean and French influences alongside a selection of  charcuterie.

The wine list also has much in common with the duo's other restaurants - with the vast majority of the wines being natural wines which have been produced by small winemakers with grapes grown on organic or bio-dynamic vineyards.
