Very poor takeaway. Bland and oily. Onion bargies were stale and greasy, dupiaza was bland, aubergine was swimming in oil, balti had some taste but with an undercurrent of vinegar. Avoid.

Ok just had a take away from Saffron Indian in Ely and witnessed one of the staff packing the food up for a customer, dropped a poppadom on the floor, pick up the pieces and proceed to put it in the bag and hand it over to the waiting customer. Other staff saw and carried on like it was the norm!
