River Green Café is a vegetarian restaurant and deli located in the small village of Trowse, just outside Norwich city centre.
The Café/Deli opens for lunch and through the afternoon every day except Monday and serves light vegetarian and vegan meals. Example dishes from the cafe menu being all day brunch (consisting of a veggie sausage, mushroom, tomato, fried potatoes, free range egg and baked beans); and falafel burger served with salad, tomato salsa & chips.
Next door, the restaurant opens for lunch every day except Monday, and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant serves a "fine dining" menu with dishes such as African sweet potato stew; and roast mushroom wellington.
The majority of dishes on the menu are vegan friendly, or can be cooked to be vegan.
River Café Green also has rooms available either for private dining, parties or business events.
The owners also run The Veggie Red Lion, a vegetarian pub/restaurant in Great Bricett.

Lovely new Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant. I celebrated my Birthday here - the food was tasty, plentiful and varied. I have always missed out on puddings at other venues even in London but River Green Cafe had several choices - my favourite was the Dark Chocolate Torte. The staff are friendly and the facilities top of the range.
