Owned by celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall the River Cottage Canteen and Deli is opening its doors in November 2011 in Plymouths historic Royal William Yard Harbour. Housed within the Grade I Brewhouse the restaurant has fantastic views over the waterside.
As you’d expect from a restaurant bearing the River Cottage name head chef Joe Draper will use ingredients sourced from local producers and take advantage of the plentiful supply of fresh fish. There will be a wood fired oven adjoining the open plan theatre style kitchen where you can watch Joe and the team preparing all the food.
The dining area provides space for 120 diners inside and 60 outside alongside a private dining room which is available to be booked.
The deli counter is a great place to pick up something special to eat at home. They sell pies, pasties, breads and cheese alongside many other locally produced goodies.

Very disappointing, the price does not reflect the service or quality I received,I thought this restaurant would be a lot better considering a celebrity chef owns it,I will not revisit, seco lounge around the corner is a lot better for your money.
