Hadn't been in L'Arlecchino for years. It is tucked away on a busy street in the town centre and parking is nigh impossible. However after a recent Sunday lunch there ( when parking is much easier ) I have returned three times. I loved the risotto and their chips are the best in Inverclyde. My brother enjoyed a burger with bacon on top and my sister loved her spag bol.
Years ago before I became a veggie I loved the lasagne. There isn't much atmosphere at Sunday lunch as it is quiet but I look forward to returning in the evening for a meal with friends.
They have a menu which is great for veggies and carnivores alike difficult to choose. I am not a fan of Italian wine and found the house red vinegary but that is just personal taste. I found the wait staff friendly and efficient and we were served quickly.

Very unhappy with my experience in this restaurant. Ordered an easy Italian classic pizza. Base was burnt black and u would question if it was even home made ss opposed to manufactured. Returned pizza to the kitchen. No apology I settled for chips which were good but not really what I was wanting. I was then charged for the chips which I guess is fair as I did eat them but no offer of good will or apology.
Means I will not be going to this place again or recommending it to any of my friends. Poor food quality control and over priced.
