I booked for Christmas lunch. it was worse food ever.they offered £20 p.p. including dessert. but starters and main food was tasteless. I think it was not £20 worth. Service is very good.

We came here with my boyfriend. The food was excellent ,the price was fair.
The owner was present to ensure great service.

I've eaten here twice and its every bite is as good as my favourite Indian restaurant where I used to eat in Brighton. The food is delicious and authentic and has a verify of dishes in menu price is average however food is great for the price.
Highly recommended.

We had a living social voucher and decided to give this restaurant a try. Food was amazing, great service, wonderful menu and value of money.
Indian food is my first choice, but the rest of my party assure me it is one of the best they have visited.

I recently visited Raj with my family after having visited many of the Indian restaurant in the surrounding area. I must say, personally, this place is my new favourite. Excellent food, nice service, great atmosphere. In SoHo and very nice. I am pretty certain we will be here again soon!

Booking 8:00 pm.07/07/12... for 6 persons.
It Is my 5th time in Raj. It is very good restaurant in Marlborough.its very nice place in Marlborough for Indian curry. Service is very good, but in that time I got very worse food in my life. Food quality is very bad, and they are always busy with phone receiving. One of guy who came to my table for order but when phone ringing then he left my table for pic up the phone. I think good for them if they are start takeaway. Another things is after order I got my food 1 hour 19 min later.
I think they improve their food quality and others. Long live Raj!

"Incredible indian fusion"
Without a doubt, this is the poshest Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I went to Raj the first time in I think it was in 2009 for a business dinner and since then I try to make a stop each time I'm in Marlborough. I'm not an Indian food specialist and can't say if it is authentic or not... and honestly don't care since to me food just has to taste good and at Raj it does it fantastic. This is an eclectic variety of food, made by an extraordinary talented chef.
Be prepared to try something new. Be adventurous and enjoy the atmosphere. With no doubt, pls make your reservation.

I'm a regular customer at Raj for the past seven years. Their hospitality is so good that I've got no words to put in. I would recommend everyone to try there food. They change there food menu every six month so you won't get bored of the same foods.They have their own unique style of foods which fascinates me every time of my visit. I always visit Raj with family and occasionally with big groups of friends and colleagues.

The food was excellent that's why I have given 4 stars BUT the service and the length of time for us to get our meals was appalling. We arrived on time for our meal but did not want any starters so went straight into ordering our main meals only to start to receive these at 9.05pm. We were not informed at all how long the meals would take at any time. Some of us had rice but no curry others curry but no rice so none of us could start to eat our meals, 2 guests had their rice then had to wait another 10 mins for their Tandoori chicken to come out with no offer of new hot rice. We had to ask 3 times for a jug of tap water & had to remind them twice to bring out the beer that had been forgotten. Not the sort of restaurant I think if you have a large party maybe try another Indian restaurant. We will not be going there again that's for sure. The staff were very rude in my opinion.

I really must say what a wonderful classy Indian restaurant! We live locally and don’t really eat out often but this was a wonderful experience for me and my wife. The décor and ambiance of the place was amazing. Great selection of starters and main which tasted superb with the wine we were recommended. As we were new to the place the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Best place in Wiltshire!

The Raj restaurant cooks and delivers the best curries in England. Since recently their unique way of curry delivery would be for the delivery man to arrive at your home on an elephant...which has unfortunately been replaced by car due to the global recession. Long live the Raj and their incredible cuisine.

My number one Indian restaurant in Marlborough and Wiltshire. I've been a regular for the last 6 years and have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The service is fantastic with the right dynamic of professionalism and friendliness. Nothing is too much trouble and the team happily discuss the fantastic coice of curry available to help you decide which one delicious dishes to chose from. Tuesday night is normally busy as they have a fantastic deal for £9.95 - so I'd book.
Sound too good to be true? I promise you - as a stubborn northerner who loves her 'Bradford Curry' - you'll not be disappointed. Highly recommended.
