well went to this place for a meal , went past it so many times ,but finally i went there , i went as girlfriend was out with friends one night so thought id try it, called a friend and he came along , pulled into car park , going over little bridge over small pond as i walked in , passing young people outside smoking and chatting , i thought well this seems lively ...
well as i opened door what did i see and hear ? an elvis impersonator
elvis circa 1972 las vegas ..... well never saw that coming!!!! was shown to table by polite waiter , seemed nice and friendly enough , ordered kingfisher and read menu , 5 minutes went by ... no drink 10 minutes went by no drink ... 15 minutes went by drink turns up , hooray!!!! as was very busy and hot inside forgave staff however took sip of beer ....very sour .. what was i drinking ? beer had gone off ! was it because it was bad batch or was it just one that was put on wrong table and forgotten about ? food wise now it gets interesting had lamb tikka was nice and pilau rice friend chicken tikka ,,,,,, some 1 hour after ordering it !!!!!!!!!! place was very busy i know but the service is appalling
when i kept asking about food arrival i was told it was coming ... yes i thought ..so is christmas !!!!! by now me and friend was trying to just keep sense of humour !!!! food turns up was average but was very let down by poor service ....ive never waited so long for food before ....now i know how russian people felt waiting for food in a queue!!!!! ate food.. by now elvis was really going hammer and tongs !! his show was was very blackpool . the sort you see in any eaterie there ... looking around plenty of female groups had impression was girls nite out and few male groups too .. decor wise place looks very tired and dated thought not seen better times since the 80s, furniture was so old and dated walls had nothing to make surroundings seem more welcoming.. save a couple of pictures .. but on the whole, the whole the lack of enthusiasm by the owners for anything to make it a good night shows in the way the place is running .. sorry but if you want to go somewhere where good service decor customer satisfaction is, you wont find it here .
