I have used Punjab's several times now for eat-in, take-away and delivery, so to some, I may be seen as a regular. I have no issues what-so-ever with any aspect of the service or the food. Granted, the premises itself is presented as a usual take-away, and looks like any other take away. When I eat there, I always opt for a chicken tikka kebab with salad and mild sauce. The chicken is always cooked just right and the naan bread is great - not too thick and not crispy. I have literally waited about 10 minutes from ordering to collecting, but if I need to be in-and-out, I phone up and it's always ready to collect!

When I have eaten in, the owner has treated me like a king - service has always been prompt and given good value.

On the delivery from, I have no issues - they even delivered to my home which is 8 miles away, but this was probably because we ordered 8 kebabs, and a few extras when we had friends around.......and it was correct!

    All in all, very good!

This takeaway is probably one of the more popular ones though god knows why. The food is average (although you will not get food poisoning) but the service can be chronically slow. The place is run at minimal expense but at least the prices are OK. Not particulary generous with portions and you are sometimes likely to experience long delays if ordering a delivery.
