Polpo Covent Garden offers similar Venetian style "small plates" of food to the existing restaurants Polpo , Polpetto, but with more choice for some of the popular item such as the pizzettas and meatballs. Reservations accepted before 18:00; after that tables are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Originally called da Polpo which translates roughly to "Polpo's Place" or "Polpo's Gaff", the restaurant was renamed in 2012.
