Great place... went on Saturday night before going out in town and ended up staying all night. Food was fantastic and wine was different to your normal stuff. Staff were great and seemed to add to a good night out with friends. Definitely recommend.

I felt welcome because of the greeting I received from the staff, also there was a good atmosphere. I couldn't of asked for anything more from this restaurant, I am very pleased with the value of the food, and the service I received. The presentation and the taste of the food was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to others!

The welcome by the staff when going in is friendly and makes you feel at ease straight away. The place was busy but that didn't take away from the attention and level of service we got. Good choice and range of prices on the menu and tea time special, everyone had a decision to make when ordering. Everyone in the group chose something different and all the food was fantastic and beautifully presented.everyone commented on the flavours and portion size was good. When you spend hard earned money going to a restaurant and want somewhere that makes you feel like you've had a real treat... this is the place. Will definitely be going back.

It's been a while since I ate here after being served a cremated version of chicken kiev which was so burned it was inedible. Big mistake to go back I think. Starters were really nice and seemed promising but the main course was a definite let down and grossly overpriced. I ordered Lasagne which came as a 2 1/2 inch square approximately 1inch deep, piece reheated which looked like it had been kiln fired onto the centre of a very small dish served on a huge charger plate. I ate what I could scrape off the dish as I was very hungry, but it was very dry: a hard clump of beef mince, lots of layers of pasta, a little red cheese and the tiniest teaspoon of bechemel all overpoweringly salted and at a price of £8.95 a very expensive mistake. The lasagne was served on it's own, no vegetables, fries or even salad garnish, there was no bread or bread sticks so I left with a rumbling tum and a raging thirst. The staff were keen to ask if everything was ok but did nothing when I mentioned the burned offerings and the reason for the burned lasagne was the same as given for the burned kiev - a very hot oven to make sure the centre is cooked - surely if it keeps burning things they have to realise it's either set too high or faulty. There was no ambience and it lacked atmosphere so I would not go back and would not recommend this restaurant.
