I have been going to this place for 15 years and have never had a problem with the food. The one minor issue I have is it's not always ready at collection times, but saying that the food is outstanding hence why I keep going back.

I started using the Newton Tandoori 24 years ago when I lived nearby and I still use it regularly now even though many others are closer to my current home. The food is great and there is plenty of it and the staff are always very friendly. I ring in my order beforehand and 99 times out of 100 the food is ready when I get there. I have never posted a comment like this before but felt I had to when I read the rubbish posted by others. I have no hesitation recommending it to any curry lover.

Ok, been to this place and got the worst curry of my life! Completely tasteless and watery. Place looks like an unhygienic, tip. Tatty decor, dust everywhere and floor covered in muck, which should have been enough to put me off, but I stupidly persevered anyway.
Food arrived late, staff were grumpy and untidy. One to avoid, especially given the competition in this area - you can do much much better than this place!

I can only imagine the above two reviews have been posted by the same person with a grievance. There is absolutely nothing the matter with this place its as good as any of the other local tandooris better than some, I only have around 20 years of eating Indian food however and take it from me this place is fine. Only grip I have is if I go to collect food its not always ready in the time they said it would be so I have to sit about the shop which is a bit vexing, otherwise not a bad takeaway at all if your in the area.

I have eaten Indian food for 35years.
The food in this take away restaurant must rate as the very worst tasteless rubbish I have ever eaten in my life.
My message to anyone is simply do not visit!
