I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. The service is the worst I have experienced, the food was not fit for my dog to eat and the free wine tasted as if it had been watered down and was “undrinkable, it was brought to the table already opened. Surely the wine should be opened at the table.
This was a bitter disappointment as I have eaten at another Meadery in Cornwall which was fantastic.
I wrongly assumed the Newquay establishment was the same group, if it is then something is seriously wrong with the management.
There were 14 of us and not 1 person was able to eat the food, when we complained to the manager he said” you have eaten some of the food you should have sent it back untouched, as for the free wine, that is house wine”
How could we know how the food tasted if we had not tried it?
To top of a disastrous evening we were overcharged and spent 30mins attempting to get the bill sorted out.
As I have already stated this must be the worst eating establishment in Newquay.
