Food overpriced and poor quality - little tiny bit goats cheese in the goats cheese pizza and a baked fig left meal dry and unappetizing.

    Never again!

Dear oh dear. Well goodbye Feloccini's and what a shame.

I used to love this place before it's revamp in to Mudd Crab. I even used to excuse the awful service for the atmosphere and good food/wine.

Now the good food and atmosphere have also vacated, so my first dinner in the Mudd Crab will be my last.

I used to eat in Felloccini's weekly, but as for Mudd Crab, once and once only. Awful service, awful food, bad atmosphere, massively over priced on every angle.

Why fix what wasn't broken (apart from the poor service, which is now appalling).

The menu states on the bottom that if we don't like how they do things there, buy them out.... Errr, no thanks, I'll just spend my hard earned money in a place I enjoy eating.

Similar experience to most of the others I've read, on this site and elsewhere. Food: overpriced, basically average - too salty, but otherwise pleasant enough. Service abysmal. The staff, with one or two honourable exceptions, appear to loathe their jobs and hold customers in contempt.

I was amused to see that the one review of this branch cited on the company's own website is the glowing write up by 'amummy'. I don't disbelieve her - I'm sure she had a lovely time - but the vast majority of reviews tell a very different story.

Ate there with my husband yesterday and was bitterly disappointed! The food was extremely salty and the service was poor. The bar was quiet at 5.30pm but even so, I had to go to the bar to order drinks and then again to order the food and again to pay the bill. Saying that - the bar staff had a great time chatting and flirting at our expense! The actual arrival of the food was quick and the food was hot. However, the salt content as mentioned previously was excessive - to the point where both of us struggled to eat our meal. We are not precious about food and seasoning but expect a little more than a burger and fries for £10. Local pubs offer a much better meal for a lower price including salad sides and coleslaw as standard. The burger was soggy and less than average.

We will not go back and would urge you to spend your money elsewhere as Bridgford has much more to offer !!!

I contacted the restaurant initially to make a reservation for Friday evening, the lady on the other end of the phone was rude and unhelpful, I asked to book a table for two to which she responded in the most patronising manner that there was 'no need for me to book just for two'. So I arrived on Friday at 8:00pm, to a totally packed out restaurant. We wanted to have drinks first, so, as it was so busy I approached the lady running the front of house who greeted me with a scowl, as soon as she opened her mouth I realised I was dealing with the same person that I spoke to on the phone. I explained politely that I required a table for two in half an hour, to which she responded 'well come back in half an hour then' I was shocked, to say the least, at her dreadful attitude. We enjoyed a drink within the outside seating area and then went back to ask for a table, I was then told by the same lady, that there was a 30 minute wait! By this time I had well and truly had enough of the absolutely appalling service and went about complaining, it was only then that I was shown to a table.

Once seated our experience was a totally different one. The waitress was polite and friendly and although the restaurant full our food came quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious, we ordered the Nachos to share, which are enormous in size, and then the brisket chilli and a cheeseburger, both again enormous portions and mouth wateringly yummy.

I would highly recommend the food its just a shame the first impression was dreadful and what do they always say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, needless to say I won't be returning and will stick to Escabeche in future.

Very disappointed. Went for breakfast but service was poor. Other customers served before us although arrived after. Food over priced and over rated - £7 for 2 average croissants. We weren't even offered a menu!!

Other cafe/restaurants/bars in west bridgford are of a much better standard. Will not be returning.

I visited the Mud Crab on it's opening weekend and, unfortunately, was not impressed. I had high hopes, but these were not satisfied.

The service was terrible, as we were treated like cattle, with very little interest into my groups experience.

The prices are high, even for West Bridgford, and with this I expect top quality. I felt let down by the value of the food after ordering the breakfast bap. A Sausage patty, bacon and fried egg for £6.50.

Want another fried egg? That's £2 please. I'm not sure how they can justify £2 for a fried egg, but to me it seems excessive.

With so many other places in Bridgford, it's hard to justify going to the Mud Crab. But maybe things will improve once they've settled in.

Another interesting point is that despite being called the Mud Crab the only dishes with any crab are the 'potted style' flaked crab starter and the linguini.

Food was good nothing special and needed a bit more choice on the menu. The service was rubbish and I had the unfortunate event of having to meet with the manager. He was patronising, rude and ignorant towards me and my group!

Never again shall I go there!

I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good stress free night.
