Marimonte's menu centres on steaks and fish - with a choice of steaks (beef rump, sirloin or fillet; or venison), fish (swordfish, blue marlin or tiger prawns). All of these can be ordered grilled in the kitchen, or on a hot lava rock to be cooked at the table.
Located under the railway arches on Viaduct Street a few minutes away from the train station. On street parking is available near the restaurant.

I'm sorry to say we didn't much enjoy our visit to Marimonte. Our food took nearly an hour to arrive and whilst staff were apologetic, they didn't even offer us a drink while we waited. The food was okay, but after such a long wait we were annoyed and didn't really enjoy our evening.

We visited the restaurant after it been recommended by friend, must say the food it's really nice and worth every penny. Very nice atmosphere and The service very good.
If you you looking for good steak or nice piece of fish you should tray this place you want be disappointed.

Enjoyed my steak here which was well cooked but the staff weren't very friendly - and in fact bordered on rude at times. Good value for money though, especially if you eat off the set menu.

Great food, great wine, great service and good value - 2 courses for £10 set menu but loads of choice, something for everyone. Even my daughter, the picky one was happy. Have had set menu and main menu - steak very good and cooked perfectly worth paying extra. Have been a number of times and will be going again!

We had a very pleasant meal all the staff were very friendly and welcoming however only the gentleman seemed to now what he was doing he knew everything about the whole meal and answered all the questions about the food which was very nice it was a shame that they did not have any Marlin the price was a bit expensive but overall very nice and we would go back again.
