I have to say I have eaten at the Mains on many an occasion, and have yet to have a bad meal, always friendly staff and in such lovely surroundings, I am such a fussy eater and always find plenty on the menu to choose from and the meals are always 1st class!
I love coming to the Mains and will be joining you guys soon.
Well done !

Had a meal there last night. My son had the Scotch Egg to start, well over cooked or reheated (awful)
My husband had the Moules Marinier to start which was nice.
I had the roast beef dinner, one of the specials (I have done better myself and I'm no chef) I did ask for the welldone part of the roast, the meat was tough, and you really had to cut through. The yorkies certainly were not freshly made, must have been reheated or in the micro. The other mains were Monkfish Scampi (which was rather dry and the chips over cooked) and the Buffalo Chicken, (over cooked chips also)
The three desserts were fine.
At the end of the main course the waitress asked how our meal was. I told her I was disappointed with the beef and yorkies, on her return (after a word with the chef) she said the beef was tough because I had asked for the well done part. SO IT WAS MY FAULT! Really.
Our bill for food £67.19. A bit pricey for what we got.
Sorry Mains we will vote with our feet and won't be back.
