Lavasa is an Indian restaurant on the site where Bombay Masala was. There is a large menu with traditional dishes of Malayas, Kormas and Bhuna alongside signature dishes such as Fozli Gosh (lamb rolls cooked with fenugreek leaves in a medium sauce) and Ginger Chicken (chicken cooked with fresh ginger and herbs).
Vegetarians aren't short of choice here with over 10 starters and 10 mains to choose from.
All dishes are prepared without using artificial colours and preservatives and there is a small selection of 'English dishes' to choose from.

My wife and I had to be down in Gravesend on Friday for family reasons but it was my birthday. Encouraged by the other reviews we went to the Bombay Masala in the evening and had what we both reckon was one of the best Indian meals we've ever had. Meat was very tender and flavoursome, the Begun Behar (aubergine) was exquisite and the fish dish was excellent. It was a pity no one else was in the restaurant for most of the evening but it was a great place to celebrate my birthday.
