Visited here recently for the buffet with my husband and 2 year old daughter and was disappointed to find that her meal that consisted of 1 popodom and a couple of spoon fulls of rice and some korma sauce was going to cost us £6.95. When I spoke to the staff member and said I was not prepared to pay this he then informed me that she could eat all she could for £4.I told him that I would give her something from my own plate. I cannot believe that they charge for under 3's!! What a rip off!!. We felt as if his eyes were constantly on us from the start to see what she was going to eat. This was the first time we had taken her and it will be the last. Also the softdrinks prices are shocking a can of coke costs £2.20. Bad show and certainly not family friendly!!!!

After being invited here by my son and his girlfriend I went under duress as normally not keen on spicy food. However upon entering I was surprised by the bright decor and the welcome we received. After being greeted we were given the menus and ordered drinks promptly also given large jug of iced water without having to ask. On the table there were 2 different dips and spicy onions to go with our freshly prepared popodoms.

We decided on the buffet and were brought our delicious starters on a piping hot skillet with a separate portions of mushrooms in a mind blowing delicious garlic sauce. The skillet contained many various pakoras in the lightest most delicious I have ever tasted as were the onion rings, there were also various chicken appetizers on there as well.

The waiter was attentive and asked us if we would like any more and which was our particular favourite, which were again brought to our table piping hot.

The main course was self service and to be honest although delicious and plenty of choice I only chose a little of as I would have had no room for the delicious deserts that are presented in a glass chilled cabinet that spins round to show off the beautiful cakes on offer.

All in all the service was excellent without being intrusive the food was surprisingly good and the value for money was superb. I will not be a stranger to this establishment.

Dining at this restaurant recently was a wonderful experience. I have never before, at a buffet, been served at the table, a sizzling starter dish of an assortment of delectable morsels plus a side dish of mushrooms in a wonderful sauce. The delicious buffet was almost an after thought as we would have been quite satisfied with the starters - and the deserts, "to die for". The service was efficient and attentive - actually above and beyond when we were offered a lift back to our hotel. The value excellent. The manager made "table rounds" to see all were satisfied and we were greatly honoured when he offered us a complimentary night cap. My only regret was that we were just passing through but if ever in the area again it will be no.1 on my list of stops. We felt as if we were valued friends other than restaurant patrons. Thank you to all at Koh-I-Norr for a unique experience.
