We visited Barnsley last week and found the Jalsa by accident. What a find! Great food and very generous portions. The service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly. We had the Balti Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Methi dishes with a Channa Sag sidedish with one portion of pilau rice. We ordered 2 chappatis and a nan which were huge!! Needless to say we didn't finish everything! The flavours were great and the breads grease free! We have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant. It seemed pretty popular for takeaways as well. If we lived in Barnsley we would definitely be regulars.
