Indus Tandoori & Continental Take Away in Hull

Indus beat the rest. Their doner kebabs are about the size weight and shape of a rugby ball. The consistence of quality is not in doubt and the value is tremendous.

Ordered a couple of Kebabs they are usually fine. Ordered some drinks and a couple of other things Also ordered an omelette. Asked if I could have fried rice instead of fries. Was told "no you can only have it with fries" I said why I am only going to throw them away... the answer was still "no you have to have it with fries". I offered to pay the difference but no it still had to come with fries. How stupid is that!!!! When food is made to order surely its not too difficult to make a minor change... nearly rang back to tell him to forget the whole order but definitely won't bother in future. The salad came with onions on too even though I had asked for no onions.

Friendly enough staff but the value for money and food are absolutely awful. Picked up a garlic naan and a curry from them which cost me a total of £7. The naan didn't have garlic butter on it but some bright green tasteless paste smeared on it and the curry was just chicken in orange water. For the food I bought £7 is curry house prices but the food is certainly not anywhere near that standard. Avoid at all costs unless you want over priced foul tasting food.
