Booked tables for 16 for a leaving party. Tables and chairs were arranged to accommodate us. Excellent food and service, even with a full restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble, even when it came to splitting the bill. Friendly staff who had no concerns as we 'dawdled' at the end of the night and offered to take photos. Wouldn't fail to recommend, and all of us will be back at some time or another.

We have had three takeaway meals to date, this was the last time.

Ordered sweet and sour CHICKEN Hong Kong style, but this contained chicken and Prawns.

This is a very serious error.

Phoned to complain and was asked did we say we didn't want prawns included?

Overall the food received was very disappointing.

Absolutely brilliant. Can't fault the restaurant or staff at all, whether as regards a take-away or eating in.

A wonderfully large and selective menu ensures the restaurant is hugely popular and not just with those of us who live nearby - the number of people walking by my house with their takeaways is testament to the restaurant's popularity. The staff are plentiful in number, friendly and attentive both at lunchtime and in the evening. Why would anyone go anywhere else for a Chinese meal once they have tasted the delights of The Imperial Palace.

Working hard to turn this restaraunt around in the last 12 months they have re launched their menu which we tried last evening in celebration of my partners birthday. To date had sampled a number of their take aways in recent months and hadn't been dissappointed.

A special event made even more special by the Imperial palace the staff were attentive, cheerful and willing to offer guidance. The menu choice was for us the Lobster which was excellent, good wine, ice cold beer helpful and attentive front of house supported by an excellent chef, cant wait to enjoy more of his specialities.

Sorry Bubblebird95, we were having real staffing problems when you last visited us. We have strengthened our front house staff and are constantly training them to be more polite and welcoming.

We have had a huge turnaround where now our front house staff are instructed to be more attentive to customers without intruding. We recently have held many functions for large parties including Waitrose Supermarket Havant where 104 employees turned up to enjoy our service and food. It was so successful that the Manager has suggested that they would like to be affilated with us and requested that the Imperial Palace offer their employees a special dicount when using us.

We are always striving to improve ourselves and always apprieciate any feedback.
