A great cafe near to the Great Yorkshire Show Ground. There's a choice of hot or cold food, and the menu seems to change pretty regularly. Like the previous reviewer, I've had really good meals here when siting the show (why don't they have decent inside the show ground instead of the crap catering vans churn out?). Loads of local produce in use on the menu too, which is good too see.
There's also a great shop attached with a butchers, deli counter, fresh veg and prepared food to buy - again lots of this is local Yorkshire produce.

I've eaten here for the last two years while visiting the Great Yorkshire Show and I haven't been disappointed with their food. It's just a short walk from the Green Gate and is much nicer than some of the food served within the showground.
This year I sat outside, there's table service so you can just relax while ordering your food. I had one of their Farmhouse platter plates which was served on a 'trendy' piece of slate and had some lovely Yorkshire produce on there, it was very tasty.
There's also a farm shop attached so you even take home some of the food that you eat in the cafe.
I would definitely consider going back if I was in the area when the show wasn't on.
