Exeter Sausage & Grill sources all their (free range) meat and dairy products from within a 40 mile radius of their restaurant. The restaurant has a brunch menu available from 11am Tuesdays to Sundays which includes a full English breakfast, eggs Florentine and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
The lunchtime menu offers a simple menu, with a larger menu served in the evenings. As the name of the restaurant suggests it is centred around grills and sausage and mash (sausages on offer include pork, red onion and dandelion; pork and leek; pork, black pudding and smoked bacon; and wild mushroom and tarragon)
The restaurant also has a "book a bird" option, available for lunches and dinners when booked 2 days in advance, allowing diners to have a whole free-range chicken, duck or goose served to their table along with accompaniments. Prices start at £30 for chicken (serves up to 4 people) to £100 for the goose (serves up to 8).
Children eat free on Sundays.
There is a separate bar; "Below 44" in the basement of the restaurant which opens from 6pm until late Wednesday to Saturday.
