Was taken to this restaurant by my family last Friday for my 60th birthday and wasn't disappointed. Excellent food and excellent service. The chilli beef was exceptional. Nothing was too much for the waitress, she even called a cab at the end of the evening for someone in our party. I shall be definitely eating here again.

As a family we have eaten here for many years. The food is always excellent and the service is personal. You are treated like family and always welcomed with a smile. Nothing is to much trouble.
By far the best restaurant in Essex. Once you have eaten here you will not go anywhere else.

The best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in. All food and sauces are fresly made on the premises. The chilli beef is EXCELLENT! Friendly and very welcoming staff, I would recommend this to anyone.

What can one say a realy good quality chinese restaurant. Great food - and a collection of house specials that is quite different to the usual local Chinese.
The other reviewer so right the service is excellent and they treat you all like family / friends. Go once and they never seem to forget what your favourite dish is or what you like to drink.
They welcome parties for special birthday etc and there is usually a great atmosphere.
The total bill may be about £10/15 more on a party of four than you might pay in some other restaurants but believe me the extra £10 is well worth it.
Oh and there is a car park oposite and an ATM across the road as well.
You may need to book on very busy nights.

I have eaten here before, BUT didnt get around to reviewing this Top restaurant!!
They had a 30th Birthday in last night, wich was fun, & lovely to see!! The staff treated the dinners like family, & the dinners were sooo pleased, with their night!
I didnt know The Dragon Inn, did parties, weddings, Christmas nights, & any other 'DO', you might have in mind!! :) They will cater for your needs, at a price you can afford!! Im now looking forward to our Christmas 'DO!!'
The food is the best Chinese, I have had!! (& Ive tried alot!!) The staff are as wonderful as the food!! LOVELY looking restaurant, very clean, & new looking, BUT not too posh it might scare me!! BUT the food is to die for!! :) x
