Lovely place, good food, but was really spoilt by one of the waiters having awful BO. I was by the aisle and every now and again I got a whiff of it and it made me gag. Horrible, really ruined my meal.

I have eaten in Cafe le Raj for about 7 years now. I have never had a bad meal there and out of around a 100 visits or takeaways I have always had a great experience. The dishes cover all tastes from contemporary to traditional. The Chicken Morisa and the sag/palak paneer are superb and for me are the signature dishes of Le Raj. This coupled with great drinks and friendly service make this the best Tandoori in Upminster and probably Essex.

The food was excellent been three times now and cant fault it excellent value and good size portions you wont find better in Upminster or surrounding area.
