First visit, waited 1 1/2hrs for starter, food tasteless & processed. No salad with steak, chips cheap & over done. Jacket spuds microwaved & skins all dark & soggy. Drinks orders ignored, lots of errors. A place for under 16's & not adults. Drafty & cold, heating requested to be turned on & it remained freezing. Bales of hay in fire exit entrance. Toilets only cotton towels for all to share, blowers not working. Customer service the worst we have ever experienced anywhere. AVOID

I've been to buffalo bobs a few times now, and each time I've been very pleased and impressed with the sheer quality and authenticity of the food on offer. The ribs are full of flavour and extremely tender, the steak is incredibly 'beefy' in flavour and cooked confidently by an unseen chef (if you ask for rare, you get rare), and the trimmings which include fries with peri peri salt, corn on the cob and onion strings are all equally delicious.
As for the service, it is what you would expect from a small family run restaurant - friendly, intimate and direct. We have always been warmly welcomed by a member of staff as soon as we have entered, and taken good care of thereafter.
The only complaint I have of buffalo bobs is that the atmosphere/decoration isn't quite there yet. I think this could be improved by slightly dimmer lighting and perhaps some music (southern, country, bluegrass, etc)
On the whole though, a fantastic restaurant. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfasts on a hangover when I'm back home!

I have been here 3 times now and will definitely be going back again. The baby rack of ribs are soooooo delicious, the chips perfectly cooked and have a lovely seasoning. Our waiter/waitresses have always been friendly and chatty. On our last occasion, they had no Sirloin steak for my partner so gave us Ribeye at the same price. As it was Pancake Day, we were offered free pancakes but were so stuffed from our main course (didn't even have a starter!) that we had to decline. Steaks cooked exactly as requested and even my fussy daughter had a clean plate (board!)

Went here in beginning of december and Food was okay. was a party of 10 of us. only 7/10 people got their food on time... and less enjoyed it, the meals that were enjoyed were ribs & burgers, which our waitress expressed as her favourites, however the rest of us were vegetarian. We was served by a young lady, think her name was millie, who was very helpful throughout despite being very busy.. I had a cactus burger, Good idea but as it was a cactus it was obviously very dry, and served with no sauce. overall Okay!

Myself , my wife and two teenage boys visited early Sunday Evening.
Good enjoyable starters and very good mains. My teenage boys always go for the largest steaks on any menu and one had the 16 oz T bone and the other a 12 oz Sirloin. Both cooked to their exact request ad totally finished off as was my Ribeye Steak.
Years since I had a baked banana for desert - this rounded off a nice meal.
Staff very friendly.
Will be back.

This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant and decided to go for our daughters birthday.
The staff had decorated the table and provided balloons and the presentation was beautiful!
We were a party of 7 so we all ordered a selection of starters to share. The orders came up quickly and were absolutely delicious! Particularly the wings!! Lovely hot tangy sauce with lots of meat! Also would recommend the calamari! The week before we had another family celebration at planet Hollywood in London and the food at buffalo bobs knocked spots off them!!!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their main courses too!! Apart from bring absolutely huge!!! I had steak and have to admit I am particularly fussy about having it cooked to a perfect 'rare' and have sent many steaks back which have been over cooked! The steak at buffalo bobs was perfectly cooked with gorgeous seasoning and an amazing garlic mushroom sauce!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back very soon!

I have been here now about 6 times. I have only ever been in a Sunday afternoon. Food has always been amazing. Staff are friendly, and never had to wait long for food. We once ordered nachos with chilli, and as they ran out of chilli we got the starter free. Can't fault the Sunday afternoon service.
