Today we held a charity Indian Christmas Lunch at this restaurant - 29 persons and everyone chose individually from the extensive menu. The venue is bright and modern, the staff very attentive, the food fantastic and the atmosphere really friendly. Well done to Abdul Ali and the team for a wonderful afternoon of Indian indulgence.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed Bollywood Spice - we are already talking about our next visit!
Also the management of Bollywood Spice are great supporters of Saint Francis Hospice - the local hospice for this area.

I thought I would give it a try as I was passing through Upminster. It was easily the worst Indian I have ever eaten, including the stuff you get from supermarket. The chicken tikka starter tasted and smelt like cheese !! the dog ate most of it, but I must admit had no complaints. I normally never write reviews as I really can't be bothered but I feel I must warn others so they avoid the same fate that has befallen myself. So to summarise, if you want to spend 25 quid on a slap-up meal for a fat Labrador, Bollywood spice is the place. Oh and I can only assume the above review was written by the owner or someone with dementia.

Fantastic place to eat. We regularly eat here and the experience is always great. The food is always freshly made, tasty and really good quality. The atmosphere is always really nice with soft lighting and gentle music in the background. The Service also is fantastic, polite and prompt and you are made to feel very special, which is a pleasant change to modern day life!!
I would definitely recommend the whole experience!!
