I was so disappointed with the blowing stone - it could be a great place to eat and drink, and goodness knows it has changed hands often enough but no one seems to get it right!
Situated in a walkers paradise you would think the menu and the food opening times would reflect that, but at 1.30pm on a Sunday I was told that they had stopped serving? When I asked why the manageress replied 'i am good to my chefs'. Good to your chefs maybe, good to your customers and business certainly not.
I decided to try again a few weeks later at 7pm wanting dinner, we ordered from their limited wine list and sat down only to be told that they were not serving food - really at 7pm not serving dinner?
If you want somewhere to eat I suggest you do not go here - at least not at a normal time when you think a place to eat should be serving!
