I was in a party of four, we arrived at 19:40 and by 20:20 we had not seen a waitress apart from giving us menus. At this point we just got up and left. I cannot comment on the food for obvious reasons, but the ambience felt relaxed for those lucky enough to get served. I am guessing that they do not have a staff training prgram.

Would I go again, no I would not. Thank heavens for the Shanghai up the road.

I thought it was a pleasant place to go to, and they served nice food. However I did think it was quite high in price and don't think you get your money's worth.

I thought it was a little rude they sat us at a table and then embarrassingly moved us as it was reserved for another couple (they could of done this more discretely and not talk very loud for others to look and stare). Then when the other couple came in they sat somewhere else instead. We had a lovely window seat and got moved in the middle right by the door and near where others queued. Wasn't very private at all.

The food was very nice so can't really fault that but the atmosphere there wasn't its best.

Had very nice food there yesterday evening. However the other clientele were very very noisy and completely spoilt our meal! Not suitable place for a couple to eat! When I complained to the manager he just didn't care. Certainly will not be going back! It's not cheap either. Shame.

It was in 2010 but my experience was more like Vrajesh's I found them indifferent, no atmosphere and the menu is blatantly designed to make it very cost ineffective to spend less than a certain amount. I hate being blatantly manipulated by a menu. I also agree that I prefer Angel Chef. I don't think it is the best food in town but definitely good value, great atmosphere and the staff look genuinely happy to be working there. Blossom is one of the few restaurants that when I left, I fully regretted having gone there. I gave 4 stars on the toilets because I did not visit them so I don't know and it would be unfair to give less. The place was clean so I'm guessing the toilets were too.

Disappointed.. we were the only two people in the restaurant. Lunch time starts at 12 .00pm but the sign in the window apologised for being closed, except when we tried the door, it opened which meant they were open after all. So that wasn't a good start I suppose.
There were two waitresses and one waiter. I would say service was poor to indifferent with hardly a smile between them whilst they were taking our orders. The restaurant being empty apart from the two of us would mean that they shouldn't get the order wrong but they did, we ordered vegetable Satay but got Sweet and Sour instead and soup although stated as vegetarian was not. They didn't use food warmers though I could see there were plenty about near the reception desk so the food was cold pretty much as soon as it arrived. The meal was below average in taste although plentiful.
I wouldn't recommend it and I've tasted better Chinese e.g the Angel Chef just down the street.
There was some redemption .. there were plenty of smiles from all three waiter/waitresses all beaming their widest smiles on our way out after paying the bill.
    Waste of £28.
